About This Role
KEIC Foundation at K R Mangalam University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Incubation Manager to lead and manage its startup incubation programs. The role involves supporting early-stage startups, managing incubation operations, coordinating with stakeholders, driving funding and mentorship initiatives, and strengthening the university’s startup and innovation ecosystem in line with national entrepreneurship missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Startup Incubation & Program Management
- Manage end-to-end incubation and acceleration programs for startups
- Screen, evaluate, and onboard startups into the incubation program
- Track startup progress, milestones, KPIs, and performance reports
- Provide strategic guidance on business models, fundraising, and go-to-market strategies
- Ecosystem & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and manage relationships with mentors, investors, industry experts, and government bodies
- Coordinate with faculty, students, alumni, and external partners
- Organize startup events, demo days, bootcamps, workshops, and pitch sessions
- Funding & Compliance
- Support startups in fundraising, grants, and government schemes (STPI, MeitY, DST, MSME, etc.)
- Assist in preparing proposals, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Maintain records, reports, and utilization certificates as required by funding agencies
- Academic & University Integration
- Align incubation activities with academic programs and student entrepreneurship initiatives
- Support curriculum-linked innovation programs, internships, and project-based learning
- Coordinate academic evaluations where applicable
- Operations & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the incubation center
- Prepare MIS reports, impact reports, and presentations for management and funding agencies
- Ensure smooth functioning of infrastructure, resources, and incubation facilities
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in startup incubation, accelerators, venture ecosystem, or entrepreneurship programs
- Hands-on experience working with startups (early to growth stage)
- Strong understanding of startup lifecycle, funding, and ecosystem frameworks
Nice to Have
- Experience with government-funded incubation programs (STPI, MeitY, DST, AIM, MSME, etc.)
- Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or venture capital
- Startup founding or core team experience
- Program design, teaching, or mentoring experience
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
